An undersized garage door is one of those problems that seems minor until it isn't. Tight clearance, awkward entry angles, vehicles that barely fit - it all adds up fast. Sometimes the original door just wasn't sized right for the space, and no amount of adjusting is going to fix that.

The right call here was going bigger. We replaced the door with one that actually fits the opening the way it should - proper width, clean install, and a look that works with the building. The dark panel door pairs well with the charcoal lower siding and gives the whole front end a more finished, intentional appearance.

Getting the sizing right matters more than most people realize. A door that fits the space correctly operates smoother, seals better, and puts less stress on the hardware over time. It also just makes daily use easier - whether you're pulling in a truck, moving equipment, or just coming and going without having to think about it.

We do this kind of work regularly - new construction installs, replacements on existing buildings, and situations like this one where the original door was never the right fit. Whatever the setup, the goal is always the same: a door that works the way it's supposed to and looks good doing it.
